After evacuating for Hurricane Katrina (we lived in St Bernard parish-east of New Orleans) I had to trade in my 04 F150 regular cab truck.We had to purchase a travel trailer as my home was flooded over the gutter cans for about a week.To tow the trailer I traded in my 04 STX with 4.6 engine for an 05 SCREW with a 5.4 engine.So far no probs with the truck and I have been putting a lot of hwy miles on it as my family is scattered from north to south Louisiana now.

P.S. we left an 05 Mustang v6 coupe behind - it was totalled - but the good news is we found an identical(almost) car close to where we are now residing and bought it as soon as insurance settled up on the flooded one.

Thats good to hear that you are recovering somewhat and returning things to close to what they were before. I took my 05 XLT 5.4 Scab down there for 3.5 weeks to help with restoring transportation in and out of the city. I did most of the work in Slidell LA, which really didnt get much attention although it was pretty much destroyed. By the time we left we had trains moving through Slidell into N.O. which was a relief. Anyway, congrats on the new truck and good luck in the future.
