I feel a little bad now. I drove from MA to 'Bama to get my '55. I feel like I exported a project a local boy could have used.
My bro and I drove non stop, 19 hours, pulled the truck onto the trailer, then 21 hours back. Only stopping every 300 miles for gas ($1.14 gal at the time).
The truck isn't very heavy. My '95 Chevy 1500 pulled the ole boy just fine. I say "ole boy" 'cause the name "Horace" was scrolled into the rear of the cab just above the driver.
