Pulling my trailer, see gallery, it is a bit big...I get 9.6 to 11.2 at 75mph and I stay at that MPH up or down big hills, and every where I go is up and down.
With out the brick behind me at 75mph and no cruse on....16.8 to 17.9, if my foot is in it.
If I could ever stay at 68 it will 19.7
13.8....I ahve a TFF 44 gallon

When running empty back and forth to work in my '04 (manual), about 65 miles each way 2/3 Interstate, I can generally get about 600 miles before I fuel up. Usually average about 17+mpg and takes 35 gallons or so.
On bad days, can drop to about 450 if I'm pulling my 24' trailer weighing roughly 10K.
A guy where I work only gets 9-11 with his 04 Auto. Has blown a head gasket recently, but there is obviously a significant difference for some reason he's not discovered yet.

Most I have ever got was 765 miles on a full tank filled to the top of the Fuel filler neck!! It ran out and I barely made it to a Pump! I filled back to the top of the neck, 42.8 Gals. That was on my 01 7.3 CC 4X4 Lariat LB. Most of the time I get fuel at around 600 miles.
Best Average Fuel mileage with my 06 6.0 is 17.1 MPG, I hope it gets better!!

Quoted from Tim: "68 / 74 mph no cruse control and driving with an educated right foot....."
And that's pretty much how I drive with empty or full truck. Recently, a trip from Lynden, WA. across Stevens Pass in the Cascades to Colville, WA. and back, where speeds are limited to the mid 60's at best because of the turns and since both to and return were night runs with deer as obsticles. And theres a lot of hills in that stretch. Just some camping/hunting gear in back with the canopy on. 620 miles on 34 gallons of fuel. (factory 38 gallon tank) One trip this summer, towing the camp trailer over much of the same route but on to Post Falls Idaho, well over 425 miles one way. Easily on one tank of fuel. Low fuel light comes on, and I figure I still have 2.5 gallons of fuel left.
I get 600 miles from a tank quite often with my daily work commute through rural roads. Best I've gotten has been 660 miles to a tank. Most of that was straight freeway driving.
