I don't know if thier is a difference but my f250 is a 2000. One day it just stopped shifting. you can still drive it because you can give it gas and let off to change the gears. Also the abs light came on a while back and never went off.

Does anybody remember what code was being thrown as my truck started slipping and the OD was flashing,I`m hoping for something simple

My Trans did not slip at just stopped shifting. It would only shift if I give it the gas and let off so it would shift. It is now in the shop getting a rebuild kit and a heavy duty tork.....

Mine didn't slip but it just would not go into OD and the light would flash. Do you have a chip in it? I think the trans gets to much pres and kicks out OD .
