John, The 4X4 frame is narrower. The cab and front clip should work just fine. You will have to adjust for the bed holes.

I use Kroil penetrant on the hardware, and buy urethane mounts if the old ones are hosed. The easy way is to lift off the whole front clip, then tip the cab sideways onto something soft like an old tire. I remove the door on the side I tip the cab towards.If you have to weld any floor panels, tip the cab on its back to make it easy.
I've done an F250 and F350 this way (with F100 cabs). The leftover chassis make nice trailers too. Clip the frame with a Sawzall just behind the suspension.
