95 psd with 331k on it wont start. cranks with white smoke but no fire up. tried fuel additives tried changing fuel filter and plugging in block heater. no dang ides whats up. please help. i need transportation becuase my wife is pregnant...
everything sounds good except the white smoke. if you got a new gpr then you probably need new gp's or some wiring or plugs are burnt.
or your batteries are weak.

did you check to see if the gpr is getting power? and has it on both posts? how cold is it there?
i would still charge the batteries the psd's can be kinda finiky on the batteries did it just start doing this all the sudden out of the blue?</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
How would i go about checking if the GPR has power? Use a voltmeter? i know that now my batteries are really dead as to the point of not being able to crank it anymore. i waork at a battery place so i am going to charge them and try to "wake them up" when i do charge them. the problems all started when it started to actually seem like kind of winter out here in So Cal. Its getting pretty cold out here at night (for the region anyways) its down to about 45...
But you think low batteries could cause a hard/no start?
UPDATE - I pulled my batts to charge them andtest them. turns out one had a broken post inside so i will replace both. is it possible for the truck not to fully kick and start because or low or slighty low batts? (truck would take a while but eventually fire, but now low or no cranking) will replace and hopefully see tonight...
