Jim, I'm from and still in Michigan. Currently in holland, with an escape to L'anse to enjoy the cold and snow as often as I can. Are you as surprised as I am at how many guys want to lower a truck? In the U.P. we need all the clearance we can get. Taller is definatly better. DF
DF; I strongly agree, I buy a truck for a lot of reasons, one of which is I love the hight. I like to see over every one and every thing out there on the road.
BTW, the misses and I will be heading to the upper in Oct. again this year. If you are up there around that time maybe we can hook-up.

Im from Alston, 30 miles west of Baraga, currently living in Norfolk, Va. I drive all Fords!! Had one too many mesfortunes with Chebbies. I take a trip up there most every summer.

Hey... I'm from Holland as well! Your right about the lowered pickups around here... not good. I just got done restoring the driveline on my 91 ExCab and intend to lift about 2" in the future. Greetings neighbor
