Has anyone ever seen one of those fog fountains? theres a little ultra sonic vibrating thing that causes the water to turn into fog. Could a similar thing make diesel fog, and then just have a carb type intake to mix it? I'm sure the fog droplets are smaller than injector droplets, thus burning way better.
my old 84 F250 6.9 had just over 200k miles on it, and it still ran just fine. the T19 trans also worked just fine, though it had an annoying habit of popping out of second gear on steep downgrades. the rear end was working just fine also. the body was starting to fall apart though.
I've recently purchased a 2003 Ford E350 7.3 PSD with 275,000 miles on it. It had several problems (turbo not funtioning & tranny) and this forum is helping me diagnose most of them. I use it for missions trips into Mexico and vacations. Got a trans error code while down near Mexico City. Drove it back home hear in NY while pulling a trailer - I think the solenoid valve body in the trnas needs replacing - I hope I didn't damage the trans too much in the process of getting it home. I'm hoping the engine will last as long as the body does in these Northern states - lots of salt in the winter.

If the injectors "go not long after" 25,000 miles, wouldn't that be covered under warrenty?
