no get up an go
i got a '79 F100 an i seem to have no power is like i cant get out of my own way. it's got a 302 in it with a C4 tranny i have changed the plugs filter and the basic stuff but it still seems to lack. any ideas? anything will help me now?

have you ever looked at the carb. It may be running too rich or something.I have a 351 winsor I bought and it had the same problem,I did a compression test and the head gasket was blown leaking cylinder to cylinder, and it just kept getting worse and worse till I finally found out, I leaned the 4 barrell out,put a new head gasket in and had heads worked and now it screams.

Won't do much for emissions, but If you have backpressure EGR that requires ported vacuum, disconnect the EGR and cap the line. I finally got my EGR setup going on my 300. What a choke hold the EGR puts on my engine. I left it on mine (have an inspection coming soon), I just disconnected the vacuum line.
