outside air temp

My outside air temp display seems to be reading 4-6 degrees higher than actual temperature.

Is there a way to calibrate so it shows the correct temperature?

Yes. Subtract 5 degrees from the reading. I'm not being smart. You've already calibrated!

...so, there's no way to adjust the reading?

If it read 120 when it was actually 96, I would have to just do the math?

(darn, I hate being ****...but it drives me crazy not knowing if I have to live with it, or if it can be fixed)

Try your dealership - it may be able to be calibrated with a WDS

Hey beemr, a couple degrees variance one way or another is normal tolerance. I have termometers around the house that are +2 or -4. 24 degrees off is a different story: that unit needs replacing! Let us know if it can be fixed, will you?
