I have an 05 F250 6.0L w/out the Electronic automatic temperature control — EATC.
I don't have an option to recirculate the air inside the cab unless I am on Max AC, and for some reason that starts blowing out semi cool air even with the temp dial set to hot. After reading the manual I stopped by the dealer and asked them how to do it and they had no clue.
Any idea's. I am not too impressed with pulling fresh air on all heat settings!!!
Try the floor setting, on my expedition with EATC it recirculates on max air and floor. My F350 has manual controls, so I don't know for sure if floor setting will work on the F350 EATC or not, but it's worth a try.
If the Heat/AC is in "auto" mode you won't notice a difference when the recirculate is on. When in auto mode, you have to have the fan on all the way for recirculate to kick in too. If you press one of the "manual" mode buttons that directs the air to specific vent outlets, then you can manually control the recirculate function and will notice an increase in air output when the "recirculate" button is on.
As Far As I Know The Only Way To Recirculate Inside Air Is On The Max A/c Setting.
All Other Settings Should Draw Air In From The Out Side. Thats Just The Way It Is Unless You Rig It To Do Otherwise.
