94 ford ranger new clutch no peddle

Hi every one. I just put in a new clutch and sleeve in my 94 ford ranger 3.2 and when i tried the clutch it felt kind of funny so i thought i should bleed it. But the more i bled it the worse it got .Now i dont have any clutch at all. What did i do wrong. I put the peddle to the floor,opened the bleeder screw then closed it.Then i tried gravety bleeding, and getting a lot of bubbles out of the bleeder screw. somebody please help . I need my truck

Thats odd, where did you get the clutch from? Even though it felt funny, did it run?

I got the clutch kit from Auto zone. And i tried it back and forth a couple of times

It moved ok. the clutch just felt different

If you were getting air I would comtinue to bleed it, it's very hard to get the air out. There's a link to a thread in the tech info thread at the top of this page about bleeding the slave.
