Timing an EFI 460
I was reading about resetting the timing on these motors. It was suggested that after following the spout disconnect procedure to reset the timing to 10 degrees BTDC.
I can easily do this but on a stock 89 motor:
1. What is factory timing?
2. Is 10 degrees BTDC make the motor run better or is some other setting better?
3. Will the trucks computer accept a setting other than stock?
