Forgot to mention I have a 77 F150 4x4, 4 spd, with no AC or radio. Does this make a difference for instrument clusters?

No.
The differences are Printed circuit and Gauges and the actual wiring PLUG size.
The sending units involved are determined by either gauges or idiot lights.
My instrument clusters are in the classfieds section.
