Full floating axle question!
On F-250 with a full floating axle what is the proper tension to put on the bearing? Do you leave just a little play simular to front wheel bearings? Thanks Jeff

Full floating axle question!
I just looked in my repair manual and it says: While rotating the hub/drum assembly tighten the adjusting nut to 50-80ft-lbs. Then back the nut off 3/8 of a turn, install the lock washer(smooth side out) and finally the lock nut torqued to 90-110 ft-lbs.
