full float axle re-assembly question

full float axle re-assembly question
I am putting my full float axle back together and I have a question. When assembling a standard axle you have to repack the bearings but what do you do with an axle that uses oil instead of grease. Do I just dip the bearing in oil before assembly and hope for the best or is the a better way to protect the bearings until oil makes it down from the diff?

Coat the bearings with assembly lube and fill the hub well with gear oil . And , fill the rear end and jack up one side of the rear to tilt the axel to allow oil to run to wheel hub . Recheck oil and jack other side .
