Question Strange Noise

Hello.
I just changed my radius arm bushings and radius arm brackets. The truck drives differently now, but for those who think to engage in this activity know IT IS A PAIN!!!!!
Well, the problem is that now when i get to about 25mph i get this squeking noise from the area where the 2 radius arm brackets come together. As I drive the car, the "threshold" of when the noise starts moves up in speed. After about 15min, there is no noise at all. Did anyone experience this? Any suggestions? I tightened the 4 bolts which hold the brackets together as tight as I could.

Thanks ,

Klim

Poly or rubber bushings? Did you torque the radius arm nuts down? If you jack the front up and set the frame on stands, can you wiggle any part of the front end? Did you get a front end alignment done yet?

I don't really know what bushings are...I went to PepBoys and bought aftermarket ones. THey are in red color if that helps...
I put lots of grease on all the parts which I changed. Torqued the nuts on radius arms as the manual says. The bolts on the radius arm brackets(the ones instead od rivets) I torued as hard as I could. The aliment was not done yet. The strange thing is that the noise goes away.... I still think this noise comes from the area where 2 brackets come together, but I am not sure. I will try to wiggle the parts when I lift the car.

Thanks for the answer, any suggestions are appreaciated,

KLim

If there poly ushings, make sure they were greased on all contact surfaces. One other thing, what does the noise sound like? Constant squek, or does it "pulse"? Does it get faster with speed till it does away?

The squek pulses, and gets faster as you get faster. It seems like the colder it is outside at earlier speed the squek starts...
Everything was greased with multi purpose grease.

Thanks for the answer,

Just a small update:
the pulsing sqeaking noise totaly disappears as the car warms up. The warmer the car, the higher is the speed at which the sqeaking starts....

Thanks for the help,

Klim
P.S. Someone on other post had loud noises from the area of the front suspension. I had the same probelm. I found the culprit, 2 right front bodymounts fell apart, so, the body lifts itself above the frame when the car falls in the road hole, and then they bump in each other with CRAZY noise. Whoever it was, should help....
