I love it! First, Busch leaves Roush for Penske, I nice slap in the face to Roush who brought this kid out of no where and made him a champion. Then Busch pulls gets pulled over for reckless driving - and seems to be alcohol related. Looks like Roush got the last laugh Mr. Penske, have fun with your new problem child
In my opinion, there has been too many negative actions by Busch and a few other pro athletes lately. Suspending and fining them isn't nothing to them, a big $ fine is hardly anything to them.
NASCAR has become WAY to PC these days. The money in that sport has ruined it im my opinion. A driver cannot get out of his car after winning, crashing, qualifying or testing without going up one side of his fire suit and down the other.
Much too big of a deal for by all final accounts was not alcohol related. Who knows what reckless driving means.
I really enjoyd NASCAR when the likes of Davy Allison, Harry Gant, Dale Earnhardt, Neil Bonnet, Cale Yarbough and such. Jeez they used to get into fist fights in victory lane. Since big money got it, I find myself getting out.
well, somebody has to be nascar's bad boy now that they have stewart on so many mood altering drugs he can only smile all the time. As far as Spencer driving the car next week,he is probably signed on to wreck somebody else's car with-in the 1st 50 laps of the race next week. And then he can get on the talk show he is a part of and agree with all of nascar's new BS rules and regulations because he is a washed up driver and makes better money on the talk show then he can driving. And did Busch get what he deserved? as hard as they tried to prove it,it wasn't alcohol related. Yes,he probably got rude and out of line when he got arrested, which was wrong, but they messed up when they let out that it was alcohol related, and it wasn't. that is what got him suspended. That and he isn't driving for Roush next year or in the thick of the championship race this year. This is just another case of Sheriff Joe Arpaio and his jack booted thugs grandstanding for the cameras again. I am not a fan of Kurt Busch by any means,I just like to see everyone get a fair deal. Maybe he would have been better off if he would have punched a reporter and threw their camera?
Ok, has anyone else put this together? Kurt got stopped by a sheriff's deputy in Maricopa County. The County Sheriff is Joe Arpaio. Joe Arpaio has the rep as the toughest sheriff in the nation. This Joe Arpaio:
POOR LITTLE KURT! Got his mega-ego brused by a REAL sheriff who wasn't impressed with his little attitude! Drinking or not he should have had sense enough to know that the police around race track have ALWAYS been looking for drivers and crew members showing their a**'s. It was like that in the 60's and 70's when I worked it and I have no reason to think it would change. As for Roush's action I would have sidelined the ungratefull little punk when he sighed with Penskie. Or better yet made sure he had a car that wouldn't even qualify. What this country needs is a LOT MORE Joe Arpaio's. If you can't do the time Don't do the crime! Bet the crime rate is way down in his county!
