Walker Downpipe

This has probably been covered before, but I need to get a Walker downpipe so I can use some efi exaust manifolds.

Where would I get this?
What's the average price?
Is this something that is bolted on, or does it have to be welded?

Thanks!
Matt

I ordered mine from Advanced Auto Parts.
It was around $60.
Bolts right to the efi manifolds with 4 bolts.

Any autoparts store that handles "Walker" should be able to get the down pipe. Walker number 45166!

That is what I used!

A walker downpipe is something that connects to the flanges on the exhaust manifolds, and bents down towards the rear with a flange where the first cat should be connected, right?

If so, I NEED ONE TO CREATE MY CUSTOM FULL EXHAUST!!
heh

Yes, you can buy walker downpipe with the cats already on it I believe. Otherwise just get the non-catted pipe and clamp the cats to the end of it.

Right now, exaust wise, I just have a straight pipe, no cats, and a 12" glasspack dumped at the rear axle.

The EFI manifolds, Offy intake and Walker down pipe will bolt right on and an off the shelf gasket will work!

eBay would be your best bet. Type in Ford 300 and they usually have a few sets for under $50-$60.

Any EFIs will work and for the most part there is only one pair. A minor difference is CA emissions vehicles may have an extra port in the front manifold!

One note is the alternator may need bolted in the bracket and then the bracket/alternator mounted. The long bolt runs from the back to front!
