Well, my 74 Bronco used to have 3.5" Front Coils and rear blocks, out went the blocks and in went new springs. But they were a 5"(i was told they were 4"). So today i installed some wildhorse rockcralwer 4.5" Front coils. I am very happy with the stance. I will try and get some better pics in the am. But you can see the difference in gap between the flares and tires.
Man that's a nice little Bronco, I have a 79 that I put a 6" lift on with some 36" Irocs an MT rims, and at the moment I'm trying to pick up a stock 76 that I would want to do the work to, to get it to about what you have there. The only thing is a lack of cash if you can belive it.
Again nice Bronco, try to put up the pics when you get the chance.
I know what you mean spendy little mothers, I paid $1,500 for a great condition 79, and I can't find one in almost as good of condition for much less than $5,000. But they're still real nice, one day(I'll pick one up).
Looking good so far, what color you painting it?
I am not going to paint it, its a trail rig, maybe prmer green someday. Its pretty capable as far as trail rig going in my book. So, i figured i would keep it that way. And for spendy... i paid $700 for the adapter and shafts to go from a C4 to a dana 20 t-case
Ouch. I feel the pain on that one.
I don't blaime you, it's no use to spend more money on a paint job to get it scratched, scuffed, ding, ect...
If mine wouldn't of came with a fairly new paint job I wouldn't of painted it anyway.
What engine are you running, did you do a disc brake conversion and do you think it's worth it for a trail rig?
The bronco has a 302 w/289 heads a small cam and a Holley Truck Avenger 675, and headers. I havent done the discs, i have them laying on the floor of my shop waiting to go on, and yes, its worth it, the drums suck. Here ya go scott, i took it out and tried to flex it, the shocks are WAY to short, but i figured they would be.

those big broncos dont hold a candle to the EB's! i was gonna do a c4 in my 72 but found np435 for cheap so i went that route. although the 435/d20 adapter was quite spendy, you'd a thought it was made from solid gold!
