I was looking for a new after market hood for my 67 F100 and had no luck in metal ones. I did find 2 fiberglass ones. One was a direct replacement and the other was a racing hood that pinned on. I found a used metal hood in the classifeds on here. It was $50.00 and an hour away. I got lucky as I'd been looking for one for 3 months. I can not find the link to the fiber glass hood people but a good search should locate it. Good Luck
depends on where you are at, i just walked the local salvage yard yesterday looking for some usable parts for my 68 f100, and saw a plethora of Older F250 parts, to include intact rust free hoods. But i live in southern California, if you are close then i got the spot for you.
Thanks to all with sources of hoods for a 1972 F250 Camper Special. Unfortunately, most were on the west coast and I am in Northern Virginia. Hopefully, other will see my post and advise of sources closer to home. Thanks Again.
