I'd like to see if autozone can get me a new flex coupling that connects the steering column to the steering gear.
The problem is, it isn't listed as a flex coupling in their computer so they can't find it.
:-X11
I don't know if they have it or not, but it's worth a try since I feel that the $75 DC wants for one is a little on the pricey side.
Any suggestions as to what I can get him to look up?

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 25-Mar-02 AT 10:54 PM (EST)]Flexible coupler is the proper name.
It's commonly refered to as a Rag Joint
It can also be called an insulator.

You will find the joint on the red "help" section that they have there. Cost was $8 and an hours worth of time. The dealer wanted $89 for the complete unit
