What fuel filter?

'01 4x4 PSD Excursion....what fuel filter should I get? Dealer told me it was like $50-60. For some reason, I feel like I've seen people talking about them being cheaper. So, what brand, model, etc. should I get? You guys are the best.

Mine has 157,000 with the original fuel filter. Work won't pay to replace it until it's plugged and I'm sitting on the side of the road.

That is a great idea.....

Go to ebay and buy your filters, usually about 12-15 bucks a piece.

My company is direct with Fram, Luberfiner and Baldwin. You wouldn't believe how cheap those filters cost and how much of a fortune the auto stores pocket.

Go to your local International big truck dealer. They stock the same filter w/ o ring as the Motorcraft, except its in a grey Int'l box. I bought 3 for close to $50 out the door for a 2000 PSD.
