VIN numbers

i just read a thread on locating VIN #'s on the frame of a truck...i didnt know that they were stamped there. if i find my numbers and get them and post the codes here, will someone be able to tell me exactly what i have??? thanks :

hi
i just cant find the VIN #'s on my frame for the life of me! unless you folks have supersonic eyeballs, can you tell me where to look again? are they stamped on the TOP of the frame rail or on the side? How far back on the frame is it? Do i need to wirebrush the frame THOROUGHLY to see them? thanks again! looking forward to posting them ONCE I GET EM!

there should be on the driver side cab frame inside the door. or maybe check you insurance papers. Manitoba's insurance papers have the win number on it

Mine is on topside of framerail on pass side below fenderwell to the rear of wheel/axle.Stamped in diff spots according to plant.Get a wire brush & look hard.Brian

We have had feedback sayinbg they can be found anywhere between the firewall and the radiator on the TOP of the passenger side frame rail.

Take it to the car wash and degrease it then look.
