rear axle seals
hey I'm looking at replacing the rear axle seals on my 77 f100 with a 3 speed column shift, inline six. I'm pretty sure that I have the "oh so rare" dana 44 in the rear and I was wondering if anybody had any tips for replacing the axle seals or could give me a breif overview of what I'm getting into. Haven't ever done this b4. Thanks in advance,

yeah it's got a bolted cover, it's not completely rounded like a nine's, and it's not a distinct third member. This all leads me to conclude that it's a 44. Never heard of a 44 in the rear end until I got this truck.
