I have been searching and trying to find [Landyot's] radius rods.
It sounds like I need to get on a waiting list, but I cant find where to do this.
Could someone please help? Or is there another type or brand that may be better?
Thanks for your time
Jeff
have not put mine on yet, he just made mine. but if you do a search lots and i mean lots of people swear by them. there is another board i go too and they have a 5 must do mods and radius rods are in the 5! i can send you a link that has digrams of how they work and what they do. really worth it for the price and what everyone says they do.
jascarb2 I would like to take a look at that link . Also check your messages.
RACERX7775 you say that you have seen some installed pictures.
Is it possible for me to see soom as well?
Thanks for your time
Jeff
X 03 Jeff, if i remember i actually did a search on the web for "landyot radius rods". and again if i remember, i got results and it had the entire procedure with very detailed pictures and instructions on the site. if i find the site again i will try and post it..
jscarb do they really make that much of a difference if you dont tow that much??
I have Landyot's radius rods installed on my X. Best thing I could have done! The truck now handles as it should, towing or not. I think a lot of people don't realize how bad the drift is until they get these radius rods. I highly recommend them for both comfort and safety!

Yes virginia they really, really do. There is no comparison whatsoever, cornering, straight-ahead on the freeway, off-road, whatever. Really. I put them on a nearly brand-spanking-new 2005 AFTER I put the best ($440 worth) shocks, best tires and it came with front AND rear swaybars.
The radius rods were by far the most important for handling. I tow boats/planes off road endlessly and haul a wife and five kids all over. I have over 25,000 miles on my 2005 Excursion, NONE of which are commuting miles. I have no commute.
Get them first, then worry about the other stuff.
My $.02

Well said Quietman. I tow a 31' TT and it was just plain dangerous before I installed radius-rods.
