I have since learned that the factory traction bar is just another spring leaf and is not stiff enough to act as a suspension rod.
I got the information pack from Landyot. It looks like I will be ordering this system soon, since I have towing plans in the future that involve a 24' enclosed trailer containing a 3500 lb car and a bunch of tools.
First step though will be the addition of a Hellwig rear sway bar.
