Is it a 4wd? You'll have some fabricating to do if so, I just had the ceramic coated headers installed to my new 400 on my '79 4wd. The headers fit but they are tight fit and run too near some of my brake/fuel lines-had to address that. Then it was really difficult to run the pipes around the transfer case but a good shop can do it. To get true dual exhaust (and legal) I had to spring for a pair of new cats (under $99 ea). My damn chrome tips are already rusting and come out under the rear bumper. Nice system. Mine cost me $650 with me providing a pair of Thrush turbo mufflers. Good luck.
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 31-Mar-02 AT 02:55 PM (EST)]I just had an exhaust done on my 78 f250 4x4. i had dual aluminized 2 1/2 pipes with a cross pipe, for added torque, leading to Two flowmaster 50 series (52555 part #) ending out the sides of the truck infront of the wheels. Sounds great. Deep throaty sound. of course I don't have the headers that you want but looking to put in a 460 and Flowmaster said this was a great setup. Also it only cost me $350 to have installed compleatly.
