umm i think it's broken
each time i step on the gas my shuifter on the colum (auto) that i use to swicth gears (nutral drive ect) always moves towards nutreal. the entire gear wants to shift by it's self to nuetral. i hope you guys are understanding this.
what's wrong with it and how can i fix it? i don't want it flying into reverse. i can't afford a new trannie

umm i think it's broken
Motor mounts or trans mounts either broken or loose. usually the drivers side motor mount will be broken. This lets the engine rock up, which pulls the trans toward the shifter pushing the trans lever up and down thereby shifting itself...check the engine mount. Whit

umm i think it's broken
i had the same problem with my 78 I300.. it was the driver side mount, the rubber split. heres the thing, i got a set of replacements from the Zone (don't get me started with that place!) and after an hour of trying to explain what i needed, i got the set and was on my way, got home and opened the box, and the new set had a carrage bolt through it.. so i said **** this, and drilled a 1/4 hole through my old mount and put in a bolt and lock nut! returned the parts, and my truck was good as new!
