it is getting cold up here in michigan and it keeps taking longer for the diesel to warm up. 7 to 10 min. looking to add a remote starter. the car audio places around here are having glitches with the ones that they sell. any help with a good brand, or a good place to install one. also i have the xlt with power locks and wanted to have them hooked to the remote as well. thanks for looking.
ps i live in grand rapids mi.
I like the Ultra Start that I have installed. Its pricey though. It pages you if the alarm goes off, when the truck is running and when off, tells you when your doors are lock and unlocked.Theres more, just do a serach.
i checked the ultra start on ebay, and it ranged from $60-100. not bad. it has lot's of features.

Hey Strokin, have you installed one of those remotes? From all the things you listed it does I think it would take me forever with a lot of luck to install that. But it sounds cool!
no, i am looking into getting one soon. BlueEyes said he has one and installed it. hopefully not ALOT of wiring and splicing. looked like some unplugging and plugging in between the connections.
I have a Viper alarm/remote starter, 550 model and love it. Bought it locally and had friend install it. Reliable model so far, also has turbo timer built in. Exact model info is in my profile info.
