Hard Shifts EB2003
Started happening about a month ago. First sign was a very hard shift in stop and go traffic, almost like the torque converter was locked (only going about 5 mph). Now occasionally (about once or twice a day) it will go kinda beserk, will down shift when it should upshift (very disconcerting). I don't think it is mechanical but electrical. Is there a speed sensor on this trans (5.4 litre)? If so could this be it and is it easy to change? This is par for the course, I have 54K miles and have had just about all the electrical issues I've seen on this board (flakey mirrors, backup sensors that think something is always behind you and now this transmission thing). I had no problems with my Explorer but this Expedition is starting to get on my nerves.
