I cappe doff all teh vacuum outlest to see if that helped. And I didn't notice much. BUt I did notice that he carb mounting nuts were a litle loose, so I tightened them dow. Would a little air under the carb cause it to struggle when cold?
the carb is about to come off anyway for the NOS plate :-) I'll make sure to get it sealed up good then.

Dude, is the 446 on the sauce or are you?
First thing I can think of is yes, a vacuum leak under the carb like that could lean out the mixture enough to affect run quality.
Second thing I can think of is that a lean engine on NOx is a dead engine. Better fix that problem first before you make any other mod.
It runs rich most of the time. The A/F readings on the last dyno run were pretty steady and in the 12s where the Dyno tech said I shold be for about 10:1 compression. So, we're definitely not running lean.
