Strange Electrical Part identification
I was working under the dash earlier and I found a disconnected electrical part. It has a Motorcraft part number D7AB-10892-A1A number on it. It was completely disconnected from anything and I see no loose wires. Anyone know what it is or what it is for?
Thanks

It would be a HUGE help if you would describe what the part looks like...

The part is about 3" long and a 1/2" thick and 2" tall. Sorta retangular. It is green and has 4 metal spages on one long end and a squat *** on the other end. The square *** was stuch in a hole behind the gauge cluster on the outside wall of the truck just above and behind the light switch. The part also says HOBBS DIV. SW.

It was originally designed for a 77 Large Ford LTD or LTDII and apparently used on a truck.
Because it fits into the Instrument section of FORD part,I'm thinking Fasten seat belt buzzer switch.
What would the wires run to since they are disconnected ?
Also, Numbers
That is a tag part ID number not the actual Ford Part Number,
People have to realize this.

No, it is the seatbelt buzzer. The turn signal flasher is round.
