I recently used the stripping from JC Whitney and it works perfectly. The only modification I had to do was trim it down about a foot on each side as it came longer than needed. Just make sure to use a good adhesive like 3M super weatherstrip adhesive as the older ford truck door weatherstrip does not clip on.
I used the J.C. Whitney weather strip on the door to cab seal.
It looked good.
It was a pain to put on, used a ton of clothes pins as there
are no locating pins.
It does not seal well around the bottom of the door.
I don't know if the bottom seal is my fault or not. Door seems in good alignment. They were cheap and I figured I could replace them again when I paint the jams.
If anyone know any secrets to aligning the seals it would be good to know.
I just replaced the weather stripping for the window channel. I used the jc whitney ones they are fine. There are no instructions with it so we found the hard way on the first window . Do not put the window channels in first put in the window stripping along the window pane first it is easier to slide the stripping in, then place the window channels in next to the window. I have an f150 75 and it is a bit hard to lock the stripping into the the slides the key is patience and get a helper!
I used their door weatherstripping (its really door GASKET when you get right down to it) it worked well, just have some good adhesive and an extra set of hands with you.
