Steering Column Swap
Quick question before I am off to work 
I need to repair/replace a steering column in a 76 Super Cab with a C6 and power steering. So what years will fit 73-79 only or will 67-72 work also?
I know I should already know this but I cant seem to remember at the moment, I think my rememberer is starting to fail
Also if anyone has an exploded diagram of the steering column they could send me it would be very helpful. The one I have isnt very detailed.
The problem is there is alot of gap in the column and I cant move the gear shift unless I push in on the column shifter. I think the bearings are gone but I havent torn it apart yet. I already loosened the column and pulled it up as much as I could.
I hope to tear into it this weekend, just want to know what to look for at the scrapyard if this one is non-repairable.
