tow package?

tow package?
does anybody here know exactly what a "tow package" consists of, and what it originally came with? my 80' f-250 4x4 has one, and i was wondering what it improves. i also found out from ford that it came with a locking rear diff, that explains all the gravel it always digs up!

Hey, I have a 80 F250 4x4 too. As far as a tow package goes. I think it includes a auto trans cooler, lower gears, and a hitch. The only traction rear diff avalable was the Trac Loc (limmited slip).

i didnt think the D50 was available in the 80' model year? i never noiced my radiator was much bigger, oh well.
