05' FX4 Screw 4500 miles. Addressed TSB for Driveline clunk or bump when starting from a stop, which ford dealership supposedly fixed. PCM reflashed due to high/rough idle, it now purrs like a lion. And now the the driveline clunking noise is back. I've scheduled an appointment with dealership to try to correct the driveline. Other than those issues I love the truck, great for pulling a pair of sea-doo and moving people out of your way.

i have a 05 screw lariat with about 8000 on it and i love this truck. no problems at all. i had a muffler shop put duals on it with a 50 series flowmaster and i have a predator tuner in it. i just tell ya for a 4x4 it will get up and go. i have a friend at work with a dodge 4x4 4 door with a 360 in it and he just can't keep up at all. everybody needs to stick with ford even if they have a problem or too. just think how bad it would be if you had any other brand.

I have a 05, SuperCrew ,4x4, XLT, 5.4. Really like everthing about it EXCEPT the minor vibrations that I get when I hit 60mph and even more at 70mph. Took it in the first time and was advised that the wheels were not balanced and also a dampening kit was put on the rear. Worked OK, but then started to vibrate like before. Took it in again and was advised that one of the tires (GENERAL) had a flat spot. Service guy advised that Ford is having problems with the tires and flat spots ( if they know it why are they putting these tires on them?) So a new tire was put on. Seemed like it fixed it but then a couple of days later vibration started again and will take it in again on Tuesday. Service guy advised over the phone that the other tires must have gone bad. Unfortunately I am not too happy go go back a third time to fix this problem.

Other than that the I really do like it compared to my 01 SuperCrew 4x4.

05 4X4 Lariat SuperCrew w/2900 miles, no problems. Love the truck, and I'm in the minority, because I think the truck has great power and pickup. My preious 2 trucks were an 03 f250 w/6.8L v10 and 01 f150 SuperCrew w/5.4, and this one has the best get up and go of the three.

05 ford

My bro has an 05 ford f150 supercab and he realy likes it but i think its kinda doggy but compared to some other trucks it usaly beats them like a 00 dodge with a 360 of my friend the only problems hes had is on injector when at around 1000km but it a nice truck to drive and ride in i think that ford need to play around with the trans because when it shifts is when it dies.

F150 Screw. 2300 miles and two months. Overall very happy, superchips made a world of difference helping this behemoth geting out of its own way. Installed a Borla SIDO exhaust. Has a slight thunk at takeoff that is my only complaint. Smooh at all speeds and again the superchips makes the shift points much smoother. Would recommend the truck to anyone. I have not made it out of the 14's for mpg, but this has been all local driving.

My 05 4X4 had the vibration. 3 trips to the dealer, a drive shaft, a tire, and it's gone.

Now the forklift banging into it while parked, that's a different story.

I have a 05 SCab Lariat, and have not had any major problems at all. The tranny hesitated alittle bit, but they fixed that after the last svc. Just reflashed.
Im fixing to take it her in for her 3rd svc with almost 11000 miles.

I have an 05' supercrew and has about 15k on it, the ABS and brake light comes on at 60 MPH and with cruise on, when shifts you hear a clunk sometimes and when you rev up a rattle in the exhaust and a backfire is heard. I'm takin mine to the dealer tomorrow for all the probs. hope you have much better luck.

I put on some 20" TorgueThrust ST and new tires, and it's smooth as a baby's butt. Mileage is good 13 to 18.
One thing-the ash tray/coin bin door rattles.
Sorry, what is a TorgueThrust ST?

It's a rim, similar to the "Bullitt" wheels from the previous generation Mustang, and a dang nice wheel if I do say so. I was considering a set myself in 20.
