As long as the dealer discloses the fact it was a buyback they can resell it to anyone.
thats why they do buybacks instead of lemmon law, no record and they take them right to the dealer auction. and sell to someone else. I have a customer in the auto business,he tells me there are 5 to 10 6.0 psd trucks at the dealer auction every month. here in memphis, he said most are bought by out of state buyers, he buys for the 3 dealerships his family owns and says he wont touch a 6.0 but will jump on a nice 7.3.
Mine is actually a buyback truck, there's a sticker inside the driver's door. I believe mine was bought back because of the injector problems and once they found out the fix, they reprogrammed it and sold it. Mine did come from out of state, I don't care. A 100k warranty is a 100k warranty.
