Does anyone have a part number or name for the panel that covers the access under the steering column. It's the one with the four 1/4 turn screws that must be removed to get to the fuse box, etc. My truck is a Lariat with the tan leather and interior.
well, I found them on ford-parts.com. Now I just have to figure out if my truck has woodgrain finish or not? Beats me. Does anyone know if a 2000 Lariat w/leather has woodgrain dash or not? I don't know what non-wood grain looks like so I can't tell?
Uh, not all Lariat trucks - perhaps only those made after a certain date. My '99 F350 Lariat does not have a single spec of wood grain anywhere in the truck (it does have a few wood splinters in the bed from time-to-time though )
they're only $15 from the dealer if it's the right part I'm looking for. I can handle that. It's not busted but the previous owner cut a bunch of holes in it for switches and they drive me crazy.
