My 91 4.0 2 wd has always been unwilling to start quickly. Never excessively hard but many times two attempts were required. once started, it always ran very well, other than its' box-of-rox sounds.
Just in the last week or so, it changed. for absolutely no reason, it now starts with the touch of the key. Really, it darn near roars into life before I get the keys out of my pocket.
The only thing I can think of is that the self repair part of the aero came to life. It healed.
It could also be the fact that I bought a sledge hammer to break some concrete and stored it in front of the aero in the garage. Could the aero possibly be scared. If the engine quiets down next week we will know for sure.
