heater core needed

heater core needed

im looking for a heater core for a 55 f-100. any ideas on where to find a new one. ive fixed mine twice but dont think its worth messing with anymore.

Hot Rod,

I doubt that you will find a complete unit, but any good radiator shop should be able to use your old tanks and re-core it, just like a radiator.

Mid Fifty has new ones for $125 with a $50 core charge. Evidently there are two types of cores used for 53-56, some with straight tubes and some with angled tubes. Must depend on which heater you have. Sounds like a local radiator shop would be your best bet, although Mid Fifty is almost local for you.
