Here is the deal. my girlfriends brother, evry year gos out and collects fire wood. He as a big chain saw 38" bar on it and he gets huge rounds that weigh about 250lb each. and how he puts 7 of these things in a 96 f-250 . need less to say the back is way over loaded. so the front is pointing up.
he blew a front shock and he says it is not his fault. since witht that much wieght in the back it takes weight off the front.
I say there is more weight both on the front and the back the back, is just comprssed more so the front points up.
so help me settle this
with 1750 lb in the bed will it :
1. put more weight on both the front and rear axils
OR
2. take weight off the front and carry all most of the weight of the truck and load on the rear axil? Thnaks J
well let me re phrase that, the broke the shock off the truck the top mount broke where it was welded to the shock,, and I admit it might not be his fault.... but he belives the front gets less weight.
and I think any dammage has more to do with his excessive driving speed! than any thing else. Thaks j
