I was wondering what kind of mileage I could get if i got superswamper tsl's? I would like to get gthe 33x13.5x15 but I hate to spend all that money on a set of tires that will only last me 5000 miles. I know there offroading tires but what kinda mileage they get?
If you get the bias Swampers and drive carefully you can probably expect 20K out of them. They also make a radial swamper (SSR) that will give you better mileage and better street manners (no flat spotting) but I can't tell you exactly what kind of mileage you'll be getting with those.
what ever tire you get make sure you get radial's if you drive on the street alot.If you get bias swampers they won't last very long on the street.I use to have 39" bias tsl 's and i got about 17k out of them if i was lucky.

that is such a relative and circumstantial question that no one on here will be able to give you an accurate estimate. everything from the exact curb weight of your truck to how you drive to the weather where you live to the terrain you drive on ETC ETC ETC.
also, i guess you know that there are several versions of the 'TSL', such as TSL TSL radial, TSL thornbird, TSL boggers, and TSL SX and it is very common for people just to say TSL when in fact there is several versions. so the mileage difference b/t those tires would be different (IE boggers wont last near as long as TSL radials) SO, I am going to assume you mean TSL bias ply or TSL radial since it wasnt specified. with that said i would bet you would get something in the vicinity of 18K-20K if you keep an eye on the pressures and rotate them and keep'em balanced. again this is a guess based on what i have heard other folks say they get.
I don't think I've ever gotten 15-20K out of any tires (including street radial)... I'm going see how long a set of Q78 Swampers will last when I buy them in the spring... Probably about 5K miles..
88F150, where at in PA do you live?? I live near pittsburgh.
Fish is right.Iv had my sx's for about a year or more on my rig and have been thru some nasty terrain, like jagged rocks and tree roots but had the sidewall sliced open by a littil shrub.
