i am looking at a truck, about a 73 or 74 and it has a diesel engine in it... i was just wondering if anyone knew if this is a factory truck??? it is a F250. does anyone know about what size engine it is also? just let me know if you know anything about it at all... thx
:-staun
What type Diesel engine is it?? there was somebody on here a while back that had seen one with an Isuzu Diesel motor, may be this is the same truck, that the builder is turning loose, its definately not a factory installation.
just to let everyone know, i went back today and got under the truck... it isn't the factory engine in it. i couln'd tell what kind it was. but they also had installed hydrolic steering on it. so at one point someone put some money into this thing. either way the truck looks bullet proof to me!!!
If it is a 4X4 that hydraulic assist power steering might be stock. I've heard a lot of complaints about them. Apparently after the rams start leaking they are hard to find parts for.
the steering isn't stock. i know some came with it, but i can see where he tried to close the hole with by welding in closed. but i also have heard good things about this type of steering. i should have no problem turning 40"s with it
