Trouble code help for 1991 F150 302EFI.
I got a 31,32,33,43 I think.
Well anyways, they all lead to the EGR valve.
I bought a new one and am going to be putting it on tommorrow (Saturday).
I had recently installed a new EGR valve, and am curious why the heck would the one I recently bought go so soon????
I bought a Wells brand before and am going to install a new Wells brand EGR now.
Any thoughts or suggestions?

But rather it was the metal pipe that connects to the EGR valve.
The metal tube that is directly under the EGR valve broke!
That is right it rusted through.
It is very hard to see, but the thermal heat shield cloth thing that is around the EGR tube covered it up!
I found this out when I was tightening the EGR valve tube.
I was turning it, and the metal tube started turning!
I felt under there, and sure enough the tube was completely split!!!!!
So boys and girls, check the EGR tube!
It could be your problem!
I will change that very soon, so stay tuned to see if it works! (and the check engine light goes OFF!)

Glad that went easily (so far) for you.
I did not change the EGR valve pipe yet.
I looked around for one, but it was basically a "dealer" item.
Ford dealer was going to charge.. get this $79 BUCKS!
Well I went to Harry's upull it (junk yard) up here in hazleton and picked one up for about 4 bucks.
Sad part is I had to rip apart two vehicles to get just one pipe.
The other one was crap.
Anyways, you basically have to take off the whole upper part of the engine (intake and all) to get at the 7/8ths nut on the pipe itself.
Took me about 2 hours to get the part, and will probably take another 2 or 3 to put it on my truck.
.... IS IT WORTH IT!
DAMN STRAIGHT IT IS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
