High idle at cold start

01 expy, 5.4 SAME )*&% PROBLEM. that high idle at start is NOT normal. mine just started doing it, ive changed the IAC, cleaned and lubed the throttle body, had it in to the dealer and still not fixed. is anyones truck that does this high idling thing at start surging at stop lights and or difficult to stop due to high idle??? im really frustrated with this issue. also, what is FLASHING the computer???

Your dealer can reflash, (reprogram computer), if an update is available. Probably is, I took mine in not long after I had it, they did one on mine, slowed the cold start hi-idle down some. I think all the newer ones do that to some extent, (1500-1800).
