Wastegate Question!!!

O.K. I tried unplugging the wastegate vacuum hose yesterday, normally I get 15-16psi boost, w/ hose disconnected I got 18psi on level 6. Does that sound about right? I was expecting alittle more with the wastegate disabled. Maybe this is because I did not have a load on the truck.
Also, the SixGun gets its signal from the MAP sensor wiring harness, it plugs in-line between the connectors, no actual connection to the hose.

Looks like boost comes on faster w/hose disconnected. Rather the using a bolt to put it on, lube (spit) on the hose end and slip it on one of the blank ports on that sensor near it. It looks more factory like as well. I'm seeing about 25-32lbs 2003 EB EX (SC programmer+4" MBPR+AFE 7layer) Now to find out more on trans line pressure upgrads
