What controls were on the dash of a 53-55?
I don't know if it was option driven or if they all had the same controls, but can someone walk me through what controls were on the dash of a 53-55 F100 starting from left to right?
I'm guessing that there were controls for wipers, lights, and ignition, but I don't know what else and I don't know their original possitions.
Thanks for your help - Brad

Sorry Svoom, Mine is all shuffled up. I know the starter button was originally on the left. And I know that there were three holes on the right of the steering column. One was for the key switch, and one was for the cigar lighter. Know that accounts for three of the five. I'm guessing that the other two were for the window wipers and the fan speed in the heater. I have a 54 F250. To the left of the steering wheel it is: starter, wiper, lights. To the right of the wheel: blank/plugged hole, choke, ignition/key, blank/plugged hole. The controls for the heater/defrost are located on a seperate panel mounted to the bottom of the dash to the right of the steering wheel. All looks to be original to the truck. I hope this helps. Anyone know what the two plugged holes were for? hand throttle? etc.
