I actually tried to replace my sway bar links (with integral bushing) with part from Napa. Three tries, each time they ordered the wrong part until they gave up and said "we don't know what part to order"!
Each one looked almost right but not quite....I live with the sound for now. I like Napa but c'mon.....!
My 02 does the same exact thing. Mine only does it whn I apply the brakes. I cannot tell if it does it when I hit a bump, but when I slow down it does it often.
Mine did same on left front. It drove me nuts. Worse over bumps and it would stop when I applied the brakes. I had everything checked. Brakes, rotors, bearings, tie rods, shocks. No one could find anything wrong. They thought I was nuts. Finally one of the local mechanics fixed the problem. He rotated the tires. There was a flat spot on the front left tire that was causing the noise.
