I'll drink to that! (or almost anything else for that matter!)

Taking the bolts off with a box wrench was prolly still the best option by the time I would have dragged out the extra tools to do it the "easy way". Remember I'm still working outside and every tool has to be gotten out of it's storage spot, mostly in the back of the truck in boxes or upstairs in our spare bedroom/"garage", then put back away before dark...
But thanks anyhow for the suggestions.

Ax....when you get your new "Shop", remember to lay down the law to the wife and kids: "NO" bicycles, tricycles, snow sleds, lawn mowers, yard tools, flower pots, lawn furniture, grills, Xmas stuff, nothing non automotive. My rule is: (not counting auto parts of coarse) if it needs to go in the attic, you probably don't need it.

No kids, wife is as much a gearhead as I am, want's the shop (garage) as much as I do. We both agree a garage is for working in not for parking the DDs in. It will have a full 2nd story studio as well. We already have 8x12 and 10x12 storage buildings for lawn equipment and spare parts storage.

Back and forth the stuff goes as the ol' lady and I engage in our time honored and intricate dance we call the "crap shuffle". When the wife can't figure out where something goes she'll put it in my garage, I then take it back in the house and put it on the kitchen table, from there it goes onto the breakfast bar and then back out to my garage to complete the loop.

................There are some rituals that cannot be broken..............
